We decoupled a struggling DTC brand from their Shopify theme, building a blazing fast custom frontend that drove conversion up.
The Challenge
Aura Lifestyle was a thriving Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) fashion brand doing serious volume, but they had completely outgrown their rigid Shopify theme. The page loads were slow, they couldn't build the custom, highly-interactive product experiences they wanted, and their marketing team was paralyzed by a terrible content management interface. We migrated them to a Headless architecture: keeping Shopify to handle the backend payments and inventory, while we built a custom Next.js frontend paired with Sanity CMS for complete content control.
